Step 1: Log in to Your Instagram

To unlink Facebook from Instagram, log in to your Instagram account by providing user username and password.

Step 2: Tap Your Profile Picture

Tap on your profile picture at the lower right of the account. Your profile will show up

Step 3: Tap the Menu Icon

Tap the three lines in the top right corner of your profile.

Step 4: Select ‘Account Centre’

A drop-down menu will appear. Find and tap ‘Account centre.

Step 5: Select Account 

Scroll down on a new menu and select ‘Accounts’ at the bottom.

Step 6: Tap Remove

Your Facebook account linked with Instagram will appear. Tap ‘Remove’ next to your account.

Step 7: Select ‘Remove Account’

A confirmatory message will appear, asking you to surely unsync Facebook from Instagram. Tap ‘Remove account’.

Step 8: Select Continue 

Tap ‘Continue’ at the bottom of the confirmation message. This will successfully unlink fb from Instagram.

How to Unlink Instagram From Facebook

Instagram can be removed from a Facebook account by accessing  "Accounts Center" on the Facebook app. Disconnecting Instagram and Facebook can protect your privacy.  

Here are the simple steps to unlink the Instagram from the Facebook app on iOS and Android. 

Step 1: Log in to Facebook

Log in to your Facebook account to remove your Instagram account by providing your username and password.

Step 2: Tap Menu Icon

On your Facebook profile page. Tap the three-line icon on the top right of the page. On iPhones, it will appear bottom right.

Step 3: Select ‘Settings’

Select the ‘settings’ just below the menu icon on Android. On iOS, select ‘Settings and Privacy’ and then ‘Settings’.

Step 4: Select Account Center

A menu will appear. Scroll down to the bottom and select ‘Account Center’

Step 5: Tap Accounts

Scroll down on page and tap ‘Accounts’ under Account settings.

Step 6: Tap Remove

A page will appear showing the Instagram account that is linked to your Facebook account. Tap ‘Remove’ next to the Instagram account.

Step 7: Tap Continue 

A confirmation message will appear, ensuring that you want to disconnect your Instagram and Facebook accounts. Tap ‘Continue’.

Now you have successfully unsynced your Facebook and Instagram accounts.
